At the beginning of last week everyone seemed so focused on Tennessee-Duke in women's basketball that no one was considering that maybe neither was the best team in the country.

Well, maybe they should have. At least for now, North Carolina is the queen of the hill after rallying from 13 down to take a 74-70 win over Duke in Durham Sunday night.

In the past two seasons Duke has lost just six game, and four have come to the Tar Heels. Ned Barnett of the News and Observer writes that Carolina is had more hunger than the Dookies.

Of course this isn't the end. They play in Chapel Hill later this season, then most likely will meet in the ACC tournament (if Maryland doesn't knock one of them off) and possibly the NCAA tournament.
