Bias?
A reader wrote in to complain about the omission of Mike Krzyzewski from the Elite Eight in our Mount ACCMore voting.
To which I say ... w-a-a-a-a-ah!
Coach K isn't there because he didn't get enough votes in the first round of voting, plain and simple.
Ditto for Christian Laettner, who our listener from Indiana also was miffed to see not included in our voting.
Accusing "ACC Nation," as our new friend did, of bias in this case just doesn't make any sense.
It's like complaining that John Kerry or Al Gore isn't president.
Hello - they didn't get enough votes; that's why they gave George W. the keys to the White House.
All is not lost, of course.
The balloting will name two of the four heads on our Mount ACCMore.
The cohosts - that's right, Patrick and me - get to name the other two.
You want us to consider your guy if it happens that he gets left off the fan list?
My advice is to back up, lose the bass and ask us nicely.
Oh, and vote - early and often.
