The Morning Edition

There's still some question as to exactly what this means, but lawyers for the Duke lacrosse players involved in the alleged sexual assault of an exotic dancer are convinced that, because the DNA results don't connect any of the players to the case, the players are off the hook. We'll see what comes of all of this over the next few days.

Because of the scandal at Duke the team is no longer playing this season. That means the ACC lacrosse tournament - down to three teams now - had to be adjusted. That is causing some unexpected time off for the Virginia lacrosse team.

As the watch continues for North Carolina State's next men's basketball coach, it looks like John Calipari will have to make a decision soon if he wants to stay at Memphis or come to Raleigh. Apparently, according to this story, Calipari has visited NC State. Not sure what the means, but for the Wolfpack it can only be a good sign.

Frank Dascenzo of the Herald-Sun in Durham likes the idea of Calipari coaching the Wolfpack.

It looks like Ryan Malone will be getting more time at first base as Florida State battles injuries.

And, finally, this story on former UVa. soccer star Tony Meola, who will reach a milestone tonight.
