The Morning Edition
Well, the Boston College ice hockey team got closer to a national title than the basketball teams at BC did this winter, but the Eagles (or the Frozen Eagles as suggested by ACC Nation's Chris Graham) came up just short Saturday night.
J.J. Redick and his team also came up short this year in search of a title, but Redick at least is getting the individual awards. Yesterday he captured players of the year, winning the John R. Wooden Award.
Here's an interesting story from the News and Observer about the Duke lacrosse team and their years of rowdy behavior. Apparently, some should have seen the most recent incident coming.
In Florida, where football rules - well, OK, the Gators did win the basketball title - both Florida State and Miami are ready for the fall. Of course, Virginia Tech should be in the battle come football season also.
