The Morning Edition
It's day 7 of the NC State search for a coach. Friend of the Nation Luci Chavez writes that, apparently, Nate McMillan and Sidney Lowe are out of the running if we are to believe State's list of minimum requirements.
In baseball, Carolina and Andrew Miller dumped the Canes. Miller is now 7-0 this season.
Spring football is still going strong. In Tallahassee, the Seminoles are working on their running game. Meanwhile, Carolina is hoping to open up things on offensive in the fall. NC State is trying to break in a new quarterback, as is Virginia Tech, although the Hokies aren't sure who that will be just yet, and Virginia thinks it has its quarterback.
Boston College is getting ready to battle for a national title in hockey. Bob Ryan of the Boston Globe writes that the Eagles are much more pumped to play Wisconsin than if Maine had made it to the finals.
Finally, Duke is still waiting on word from Josh McRoberts on whether he will return to Durham next season or test himself in the NBA. I think I speak for all Carolina fans, go Josh go.
